Is this product available outside of the USA?
The Finn Cycle is available to rent at a limited number of courses in Canada currently. In addition, we are working with several international government agencies in preparation for beginning more operations outside of the United States.
How do I transport my Finn?
There are carriers available through 3rd party retailers. The handlebars can also be folded down for easier transportation in a truck, SUV, or large hatchback.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, 250 pounds.
What is the life of the battery and how many holes can I play on one charge?
The battery will last 800-1000 charging cycles. On a standard charge, the battery will last 18 holes at full speed.
Can I test drive one?
Yes, demo rides are available. Check the Find a Finn page on our website to see where demo rides and fleet rentals are available.
Can I ride my personal Finn Cycle to the golf course?
The Finn Cycle is not street legal. Depending on your local laws and regulations, the Finn may be approved for bike paths. We always encourage you to ask first before you ride.
How long will it take to ship?
Typically, your order will ship in 5 - 10 business days. They ship ground freight from Missoula, Montana.
Can I buy rounds for my friends with the Finn Scooters App?
Yes. Before your friends go to the golf course, they will need to download the app. Once you rent a cycle for yourself, you have an option to "Purchase for Others". There you can purchase 9 or 18 holes for your golfing companion(s) by entering in their mobile phone number(s). Once purchased, your companion(s) can then scan a cycle with the Finn Scooters App from their phone (with the matching phone number) and they are given the option to "Redeem Voucher". Once they choose that, their rental session will start! These vouchers have a 90-day expiration date and are only valid at the golf course at which they were purchased.
What is the warranty?
Specific components of the Finn Cycle are subject to different warranties. The frame of the Finn Cycle is warranted from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for its lifetime. Other components on the Finn Cycle are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for two years from receipt of the Cycle.
